Quick Answer: Check in/out through the Schedule tab. For on-site shifts, you must be at the store with location services on. If the manager doesn't have the check-in code, use bypass code "00000" (enter twice). Report mistakes immediately via in-app support.
Details: On-site check-in: Schedule tab > select shift > Check In > enter 6-digit code from manager. App verifies GPS location is within store radius.
If "too far": walk closer to center of store, toggle airplane mode, ensure Precise Location is enabled, verify correct store address.
If no code available: bypass by entering "00000" and submitting, then "00000" again. Codes not being available is never a reason to not complete a shift.
Remote check-in: Schedule tab > select shift > Check In. Cannot check in earlier than 30 minutes before start. Ensure third-party systems are ready.
Mistakes: Report immediately via "Having trouble with this shift?" from shift details. For accidental checkout, report while still on-site so the team can reverse it.

When to Submit a Ticket: Only if you tried troubleshooting (GPS refresh, app reinstall, bypass code), reported in-app within 30 minutes, and still couldn't check in/out. Include screenshot, store address, and arrival time.
