Equipment and Store Issues

Quick Answer: If equipment at the store isn't working (label printer, tablet, scanner) or store conditions prevent normal work, report it in-app immediately under "Problem completing work" > "Problem at the store." Complete what you can — you're still paid for time on-site.

Details: Common equipment issues:

  • Label printer not working or out of labels
  • Scanner not functioning
  • Refrigeration units inaccessible or broken

What to do:

  1. Ask the store manager or associates if there's a workaround
  2. Report in-app immediately: "Having trouble with this shift?" > "Problem completing work" > "Problem at the store"
  3. Complete as many tasks as possible using available equipment
  4. Upload photos of what you were able to do
  5. If the equipment failure prevents ALL work and the manager confirms, you may report a turn-away

Store closed or inaccessible: If the store is closed when you arrive, take a photo of the store hours sign or locked doors. Report a turn-away in-app. See Turn-Away — Reporting and Getting Paid\.

You will be paid for time on-site working, even if the work differs from the original plan due to equipment issues.

When to Submit a Ticket: Only if you reported the issue in-app during the shift and haven't received proper payment resolution within 48 hours.
