Show up on time
By checking into your shift within 10 minutes of start time, you can increase your on time score and ensure you are getting visibility into the most shifts! Showing up more than 10 minutes late to the shift can negatively impact your score and may impact shift visibility and reward access.
Photo validation for on-site shifts
Completing the in shift task list is the best way to demonstrate shift success and get paid fast! By uploading photos for each required task in the app, you can fast track your payment. Any shifts that do not have a completed task list require manual verification and can take up to 48 hours for payment.
Dress for success
For on-site shifts, make sure you look neat, clean, and professional while not wearing clothing items unfit for a store environment. Our most successful partners wear polos or plain shirts, pants without holes, and closed toe shoes. For some shifts, you may want to bring a sweater or jacket if you’re working in a cooler.
Demonstrate professionalism
Acting with professionalism is key for success with Shiftsmart. Whether you’re completing on-site shifts or working call center shifts, or completing a mystery shop, a professional and courteous attitude is the best way to present yourself! And it's part of the terms of service you agreed to when joining the platform, check out Section 3.2 for more information.
If you have to cancel a shift
If you have to cancel a shift, make sure you cancel at least 24 hours before a shift starts. Canceling a shift less than 12 hours before a shift starts or not showing up to a shift will negatively impact your reliability score and may impact shift visibility.
