Mobile backup payments

Mobile Backup or Floater Shifts

If you’re on a mobile backup or floater shift, you can be dispatched to a shift during your shift time. To ensure full payment:

  • Keep Phone Notifications On: An agent might call or message you, or you’ll receive a system notification via the Shiftsmart app.
  • Be Ready to Work: Refusing a dispatched shift will make you ineligible for payment.
  • Be On Time: Arriving late and being turned away by the store manager may disqualify you from payment.

Mobile backups are paid for waiting time plus time worked. If not dispatched, you’ll be paid for your availability, so clock in and out on time.
