Background Check and Drug Screen Requirements
When onboarding for a role on the Shiftsmart platform, you may need to complete a background check and/or drug screen, depending on the role's requirements. These are at no cost to you.
Background Check:
You'll be prompted to provide your information for a criminal background check, which may include:

- County Criminal Search (last 7 years)
- Federal Criminal Search (last 10 years)
- National Criminal Search
- Sex Offender Registry Search
- SSN Trace
- State Criminal Search (last 7 years)
- Global Watchlist Search
- Additional checks as requested by the customer
Drug Screen:
Some roles require a drug screen that may test for:

- Amphetamines
- Cocaine
- Marijuana
- Opiates
- Phencyclidine (PCP)
- Barbiturates
- Benzodiazepines
- Propoxyphene
- Methadone
- Methaqualone (Quaaludes)
